Houseplant started as a Canadian cannabis brand founded by two of Canada’s most famous cannabis lovers (Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg). It’s evolved into a Housegoods brand founded by two of Canada’s biggest appreciators of beautiful, highly functional art designed to elevate the experience of enjoying cannabis, which is way too specific of a thing to be famous for. And now, some of their favorite and favourite Housegoods are available in Canada, some of which they’ve designed, all of which they love.

Everything Houseplant makes is designed by people who love weed, to elevate the experience of smoking weed. The goal isn’t to put that experience up on a pedestal, but to make the everyday a little more extraordinary. The goal is also to make highly useful, highly artful products, that are fun to use and also to look at whether you’re high or not.

Houseplant Housegoods are Home for Good

Houseplant was founded by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. According to formal business type documents, that happened in 2018, but in reality it was founded in their collective consciousness over the course of countless joints back when they were growing up in Vancouver. They always dreamed of starting their own Cannabis company, but as they’ve grown up, that dream has also grown, to found a company that not only reflects their sensibilities, but that makes the kinds of products they wish existed but don’t yet exist (pretty novel idea for a company!)
